Ethiopian Tartare

KITFO - hailing from southwest of Addis Ababa (the capital city of Ethiopia) - is a dish consumed on special occassions.

Kitfo is made of minced raw beef, marinated in a mitmita (a chili poweder-based splice blend) and nitir kibbeh (a clarified butter infused with herbs and spices).

The National Dish

The fabulous, flavour packed and slow-cooked chicken is THE DISH every humankind ought to have consumed. ​ Doro Wat is made with the very Ethiopian quintessial chilli powder called berbere, spanish onion and is seasoned with  the clarified butter that has been infused with herbs an spices.

Humbly yet proudly, we claim to have the most exquisite mouth-watering dishes in the vegitarian realm.

 

Most of our veggie dishes are cooked with onions that are slowly carmelised in olive oil. Garlic and ginger are a must.
